The ancient city of Ibadan was agog as the newly opened retail pharmaceutical store, LifePlus Pharmacy was the centre of attraction on Sunday, 5th June, 2022, during it official opening by renowned professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmacokinetics, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University.
The event which took place at LifePlus Pharmacy Store premises at Queens Cinema, Dugbe, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State attracted people from all works of life to grace the occasion.
Addressing the dignitaries that graced the occasion, Prof. Chinedum  Babalola, stated that LifePlus Pharmacy Store has met the required standard of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria which deemed it fit to start the Pharmacy store. She said: “I am proud of the structure and equipment I met on ground. I have no doubt that LifePlus Pharmacy Store is determined to serve as it is required by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.” She commended the owner, Mrs Chiugo Okonkwo for choosing to invest in a dire area of everyday life that has to do with saving lives and humanity; and assured that LifePlus Pharmacy Store is prepared to offer global quality services to  all and sundry.
She further harped more on LifePlus Pharmacy as one-stop Pharmacy Store, equipped with reputable work force and quality products where customers can as well get clinical counselling. Prof. Chinedum Babalola used the opportunity to warn the general public against self-medication of drugs as she believes this could be dangerous to health.
The erudite professor advised that medicines should be gotten from reputable and standard pharmacy stores to be sure they are well manufacture, distributed and dispensed.
Speaking with the MD/CEO of LifePlus Pharmacy, Mrs. Chiugo Okonkwo, revealed to CEOAFRICA that LifePlus Pharmacy has a primary vision to diligently serving the community as well as providing quality medicines and other health products at affordable prices in the city of Ibadan.”
