JUST IN: JAMB announces cut-off mark for 2022 admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Thursday announced cut-off marks for admission into Tertiary Institutions for 2022.

The Board approved 140 and above as the national minimum cut-off mark for admission into public universities in 2022

The decision was reached at the ongoing Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.

The board also approved 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who made the announcement said every institution has the right to fix its cut-off mark even up to 220 but no one would be allowed to go less than the agreed minimum marks of 100 for Colleges of Education, 100 for Polytechnics and 140 for Universities.
