Thousands of pharmacists in Nigeria and other stakeholders are set to gather in the beautiful city of Jos for the 95th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society Of Nigeria (PSN), tagged TINCITY 2022.

A glance through the flyer obtained by CEOAFRICA shows thought provoking and highly educative scientific discussions and plenary sessions that span through different fields of pharmacy.

The conference will also enhance networking opportunity by allowing pharmacists to get to meet peers and front liners in their chosen career and other things that interests them.

In a chat with CEOAFRICA, the President of PSN, Prof. Cyril Odianose Usifoh said the conference which will start on October 31st and end on November 5th, 2022 will be held at Chrispan Suites and Events Centre, Rayfield in Jos, Plateau State.

Commenting on the theme of the conference which is 'Medicine Security In An Unstable Economy', he promised that the conference will be a positive life changing experience for all intending participants.

He further stated that this year’s conference will be graced by dignitaries from all walks of life such as former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon, Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lilong, who is the Host Governor, Chairman/ Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), Dr. Obi Adigwe, pioneer Head of the Health Policy Research and Development (HPRD)and host of others.

Prof Usifoh assured all Pharmacists that CPC and the LOC are working hard to ensure all participants enjoy their stay in Jos.

Recall that CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that Governor Lalong said Plateau State will be eager to host the Pharmacists who have been very helpful to the health and socio-economic development of the State.

The Governor stated this on May 11, 2022 while receiving the National President of the PSN at the New Government House Little Rayfield Jos.

Lalong who accepted to be part of the Conference said the State Government will give all necessary support to ensure a successful National Conference in line with the State’s history of hospitality and accommodation.

He said the choice of Jos as the host city for PSN National Conference is another testimony and dividend of the peace efforts that the Rescue Administration has put in place over the past 7 years.

The Chairman of Conference Planning Committee, Pharm Victor Adekanye , MAW and his team are living no stone unturned towards a successful historic National Conference.
