Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez has commented on the club’s forward Antoine Griezmann’s future ahead of his side’s LaLiga tie with Cadiz on Saturday.

Griezmann, who joined Atletico Madrid on loan from Barcelona last year, has continued to play for Diego Simeone’s side this season.

But the recent turn of events could see Barcelona and Atletico Madrid go to court regarding Griezmann’s signing.

Xavi during an interview with Mundo Deportivo explained that the Griezmann situation is none of his business, adding that it is the Club’s issue.

“My opinion will change nothing. It’s a question for Cholo, he made it clear that it’s a club issue.

“I have not talked about Griezmann. It’s an Atlético-Barça issue. It’s a club issue that I don’t, I have dealt with it. We have not dealt with the Griezmann case. Bad leg, huh?”

When asked about Griezmann’s future once more, Xavi bluntly responded;

“Griezmann? It’s a club issue, it’s none of my business. There’s no debate. We think he’s an Atlético player.”
