As the state of emergency imposed on Adamawa, Yobe, and Borno states expires today, the federal government said it would seek extension of the emergency rule from the National Assembly.

The Attorney General of the federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke, gave the hint when he spoke briefly with State House correspondents at the presidential Villa, shortly after Jonathan's meeting with service chiefs.
