Nigeria remains the giant of Africa—Chrisland University’s VC, Prof Babalola

The Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, has restated that Nigeria remains the giant of Africa.
In a goodwill message, signed by the woman of many first, Nigeria has always had great men and women who keep her flag flying at the global scene, in every generation, ranging from the days Profs Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Chike Obi, Pius N. Okeke, Flora Nwapa, and others to the time of Alh. Mohammad Barkido, Prof Dora Akunyili, Chief Chile Ebeo-Osuji, Drs Oby Ezekwesili, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and others, to the era of Drs Akinwunmi Adesina, Olorutimi Badero, Ms Amina Mohammed and others, down to the likes of Ms Chimamanda Adichie, Dr Onyema Ogbuagu and many more.
She further stated that despite the various challenges being faced by the country, she is confident that the nation’s light is risen and will never go down.
Prof Babalola, who congratulated the members of the university’s community and Nigerians, in general, also felicitated with the federal government for all its effort in ensuring that the country is on the right path, to avoid being swallowed up by predicaments.
