The Provost, Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Dr Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo, has invited the general public to a lifetime opportunity of training in various areas of agricultural research and technology.
The training, which will involve the award of certificate and diploma, is available in various areas, ranging from Veterinary Technology, Animal Health, Fisheries, Agricultural Extension, Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Pasture and Range Management, Animal Production Technology, among others.
Recall that the college had earlier announced the sale of its admission forms, the admission is still ongoing for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.
Candidates applying for diploma programmes are expected to possess the minimum entry requirement of five credit grades, obtained in not more than two sittings, in relevant subjects, which should include English language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Biology, Geography, Animal Husbandry, Chemistry and Physics.
Candidates for HND programmes, which is equivalent to degree certificate, are expected to have, in addition to five credit in relevant field, a minimum of lower credit at the diploma or Advanced level; their transcripts are also expected to reach the college, from their previous institution(s).
