It was a jaw-breaking, thought-provoking, as well as rib-cracking moment at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Ibadan, yesterday, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, as the orientation programme for the new students of the school was off to a running start.
Recall that CEOAFRICA had earlier reported that the event, which was slated to hold between Tuesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 20, 2022, as contained in a statement sent to us by the college, would have a lot of activities lined up for everyone in attendance.
The Provost, Dr Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo, yesterday, in his words of advice to the students urged them to take their studies rather seriously, as that is their primary aim of being in the school.

He further assured them that the great citadel of learning has put a lot in place to make their stay memorable, while boasting that he is proud for having his biological daughter schooled at the college.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the orientation committee, Dr Omolara Jemimah Ojedele, who doubles as the Dean, School of Pure and Applied Sciences, also noted that the orientation programme helps the student to know about the school, while helping the school know about the students.

So many activities were engaged in by the students and scholars to make the day unforgettable in the life of anyone who was in attendance; Heads of Departments, Deans of Colleges as well as other principal officers of the school were there, live.
Today’s activities, which have kick started earlier this morning, began with lectures on “Emotional Intelligence: A Vital Recipe for Academic Excellence” by Mr Oluwaseunla Adeniyan, at 9:00 am and “Understanding of Drug Use and Its Impact on Student Life” by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at 11:00 am, as usual, side attractions and interludes are not exempted.
