A tanker filled with Fuel, on Thursday exploded along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The incident was confirmed by the spokeperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State, Florence Okpe.
Okpe said the incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, in Araromi town, before Sagamu interchange, Ogun State.
The FRSC spokesperson said a bus was involved in the mishap and the details of the incident is still sketchy.
Okpe said rescue operation is still on and the number of people involved is yet to be confirmed.
She said; “Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes to avoid unnecessary delay.
“Motorists are advised to remain calm and cooperate with traffic managers managing the situation.”
