NFF Task force boss offers Olympic Eagles $20,000 to beat Tanzania

The Chairman, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Task force on youth competition, Aminu Balele Kurfi, has promised to give the Olympic Eagles the sum of $20,000 if they win the match against Tanzania.
Kurfi made the declaration before the team’s departure for Dar es Salaam.
The Olympic Eagles are playing against Tanzania, in the first leg of their U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying fixture at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es Salaam, on Saturday.
The players and their officials departed for the East African country on Thursday night via a Kenyan Airways flight.
The reverse fixture will hold at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, on October 29.
The winner over two legs will proceed to the final round of the qualifiers.
The 2023 AFCON will serve as the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games to be hosted in Paris, France.
