Collapsed Building Claims Seven Lives in India

News reaching the desk of CEOAFRICA.com from India indicates that at least seven deaths has been recorded, while ten other are still believed to be trapped inside a collapsed two three-storey residential buildings in western part of the country.

According to sources, rescue workers were seen working tirelessly to save many people trapped inside the rubble of the buildings, which is located in the Vadodara district of Gujarat State.

The collapse took place around 5.am Wednesday morning and people have joined rescue workers to assist in saving lives.  

Investigation into the cause of the collapses has begun with immediate effect.

In April, scores of people were killed in the collapse of an illegal multistory building in Thane, a city near the Indian financial hub Mumbai.
