The Flamingos of Nigeria, on Wednesday, lost to Columbia in the penalty shootout during the FIFA Women's World Cup (WWC) semi-finals. 
The Powerpuff Girls beat Flamingos to reach the final of the U-17 WWC in India.
CEOAFRICA had reported that the Nigerian team had broken the quarter-final jinx and were hopeful to reach the finals of the competition.
