The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s campaign is ongoing in Nasarawa State.
Present at the Presidential campaign are Obi’s running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, social activist, Aisha Yesufu, and the LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, among other party chieftains.
Peter Obi, while addressing his supporters lamented Nigeria’s failure to qualify for 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Presidential candidate said his administration would invest money in sports, if elected President.
He said; “A country of 200 million people, we did not qualify for World Cup? …We will put money in sports, the youths will have goals, we will go to World Cup one way. How can they play World Cup without Nigeria?
“We will give you back your job, we will give you back your country. You will be proud of Nigeria,” he also said earlier.''
