The Osun State Police Command has arrested two men for alleged possession of human hair and flesh.
This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola, in a statement on Friday.
Opalola said the suspects were arresed on Thursday in the Ijebu Jesa area of the State.
The PRO said at about 9.30a.m., the command received a distress call from Oke Ana Area on Iwaraja Erimo Road.
The call followed the complaints of an offensive odour by members of the community.
The police, led by the DPO of Ijebu Jesa Division, searched the bush and subsequently nabbed Ojo Gbadebo and Babatunde Hamsat.
She said; “Upon the arrest, it was discovered that the bag one of the suspects was carrying contained human hair and flesh.”
The duo and the exhibits recovered are presently at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
