The Nigerian Law School Port-Harcourt campus inauguration currently ongoing has been temporarily suspended following a downpour.
The Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration started the state-of-the-art facility, which is located on a wide expanse of land at the Rumueme axis of Mile 4, in Obio/Akpor local government area and completed it within ten months.
While the programme which commenced at past 12pm was reaching its high point, the weather changed.
Minutes later, it started raining cats and dogs, forcing Wike and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who is to inaugurate the project, running for cover.
President Muhammadu Buhari was billed to inaugurate the project known as the Dr. Nabo Graham Douglas of the Nigerian Law School, but he is represented by the Minister of Justice.
However, Governor Wike had safely led his special guest and other dignitaries into the auditorium of the law school campus.
The programme is expected to continue in the main hall.
More details later…
