The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has challenged the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, to hold a rally in the State to test his popularity.
Ganduje disclosed this while featuring on Channels TV’s Politics Today, on Monday.
The Governor, while commenting on the massive turnout at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally of Bola Tinubu, held in the State, said many of Kwankwaso’s followers have joined the APC.
He said; “So, if Kwankwaso thinks that he can win the party, let him hold a march like this and compare what will happen if he can do so.”
Ganduje also questioned the political relevancy of Ibrahim Shekarau, who he said is moving from one party to another and losing a large number of his followers in the process.
The Governor said Shekarau has left majority of his followers in the APC, the NNPP and no one knows his next move.
