The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, on Thursday, hosted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) G5 Governors for a meeting in Umuahia, the State capital.
On arrival, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, told newsmen they are in the State ‘’for the PDP campaign today.’’
Also present in the State are Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu; Samuel Ortom of Benue and Seyi Makinde of Oyo.
CEOAFRICA had reported that the aggrieved governors are calling for the resignation of the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu.
The Governors have also expressed readiness to reconcile with the party’s leadership, provided their demands are met.
