If there is anytime the police needs our help and cooperation, it is no other time than now. This is largely so as daily reports about security is  quite alarming and challenging. This therefore has point to the fact that the police as a safety and security officer is a friend to proudly relate and associate With.
As part of its bid to foster community relations with the people they serve, the Nigeria Police, Apata Area command of Ibadan, Oyo state has honoured Dr A. O and Mrs Folake Owosibi  , the current provost of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan  and the amiable wife   as patron and patroness respectively for the Police Community Public Committee (PCRC) in Apata area.
It is note worthy to mention that the conferment of the award is in recognition of the duo positive contributions to the service of policing in their area. They have in many ways supported the police as trusted friends of the community. By this therefore, they are singled out for the honour to appreciate their community service and police friend.
The conferment ceremony took place on 30th November, 2022 in  the Dr K. J Hall of the    Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology,   Apata Ibadan .
The historic  event  was very colourful  with many stakeholders  in attendance to show their support to our safety heroes.
PCRC is a community policing based organization established by the Leadership of Nigeria Police Force in 1984 to foster a partnership between the Police and the community with a view to enhancing efficient and effective policing of communities in Nigeria.
