The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo has sacked Ademola Adeleke and declared Gboyega Oyetola as the duly elected governor of Osun State.
The court gave the ruling after Adeleke was declared eligible and qualified to contest the July 16 governorship election.
But the tribunal in a split document of two to one said Oyetola scored the majority lawful votes of 314,931 against Adeleke’s 219,666.
The majority judgment was read by the Chairman, Justice Tertse Kume.
