The West African Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (WASPEN) which is dedicated to bringing improvement to patient care by bringing advancement to the science and practice of clinical nutrition is inviting the general public to a 2023 Annual Clinical Nutrition Conference.

This conference is set to enlighten the community of health professionals who specialize in every sector of clinical nutrition in different primary healthcare settings and hospitals.

The conference is scheduled to host lot of great dignitaries who are erudite in their respective fields.

Dr. Teresa Isichei Pounds is the Founder/President of WASPEN and also the host of the conference. In a chat with CEOAfrica, the founder gladly assured that all is set for the successful hosting of the conference. She called on Nigeria's Health and Nutrition sector to take advantage of this conference to equip themselves on the latest innovation and knowledge of healthy nutrition.

Dr. Teresa Isichei also made known that Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeniyi, President of Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy, will be the Chairman of the day.

The keynote speaker is Clare Omatseye, FPSH, FWACS, FHAPHARM President. West African Private Healthcare Federation (WAPHF/FOASPS). Dr. Osagie Ehanire, the Honorable Minister of Health will be the special Guest of Honor. The other Special Guest of honor for the conference is Dr. Peter Adiowe who is the CEO/Director General, Nigerian Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD).

Also, Honorable Abike Dabiri-Erewa who is a Chairman/CEO, of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) will be present. Dr. Leo Egbujiobi, who is the MD Cardiology Specialist in Belolt will also be present.
