The Association of Community Pharmacist of Nigeria (ACPN) is set for the forthcoming coming Annual National Scientific Conference tagged ASABA 2023.
This was made known to CEOAFRICA in an official Press Release signed by the National Chairman, Pharm Adewale Oladigbolu Fpsn and the National Secretary, Pharm Ambrose Eze, MAW.
The 42nd Annual Scientific Conference which is aimed to shed light on the crucial role of Community Pharmacists in providing accessible and quality healthcare services delivery for all, will hold between 31st July to 5th August at Asaba , the capital city of Delta State, with the theme: "Building Effective Community Pharmacy Services for Universal Health Coverage."
The Release reads in part, “As you are well aware, community pharmacists play a vital role in promoting public health and well-being. Their services go beyond dispensing medications; they serve as trusted healthcare providers within communities, offering valuable advice, counselling, and preventive care. With universal health coverage becoming a global priority, it is essential to recognize the significant contribution of community pharmacists and explore ways to enhance their services.”
The conference that is billed to be rewarding to participants, will bring together renowned experts, policymakers, and community pharmacist representatives to discuss vital and key issues such as: the importance of Community Pharmacist Services: Understanding the critical role community pharmacists play in healthcare systems, examining the challenges faced by community pharmacists and identifying opportunities for improvement, policy Implications, best Practices, compromised Public Health: medicine insecurity and more prospects to highlight the significance of digital health in the practice of community pharmacists and how it can revolutionize the way we deliver also healthcare services to our community.
