Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has set another milestone as the citadel of learning becomes the first university in Africa to obtained full accreditation for Physiotherapy programme from National Universities Commission and the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist (Registration) Board of Nigeria.
The accreditation is a recognition that the university’s programmes have met all the academic and professional standards set by the commission.
The accreditation is a major achievement for the university, as it reinforces its commitment to providing quality education to its students.
The Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, who shared the good news with CEOAFRICA, expressed her excitement about the accreditation, stating that it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the university’s faculty and staff. She noted that the university is the first university in Nigeria plus Africa to obtain full accreditation for Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) programme from both National University Council and Physiotherapy board.
