August 5th, 2023 was an epic day of many celebrations as His Majesty Global Schools graciously held her 7th Graduation Ceremony, Awards and Prize Giving Day in grand style. The lavish event which took place at the school premises in Ido, in Ido Local Government Area, Oyo state, also celebrated in style, the founder of the school, Dr. Babajide Ojo 60th birthday and retirement.
Dr. Babajide Ojo, the visionary behind the school, delivered an inspiring address, expressing his heartfelt thanks for the opportunity to be part of the educational journey of the graduating students within the vibrant academic environment of the Ido community.
He highlighted the day as a significant milestone in the journey towards establishing this renowned institution, aimed at nurturing exceptional students for Nigeria's economic advancement and putting Ido on the global map in a positive light.
Underscoring the vital role of education in combating poverty, Dr. Ojo emphasized that no family, community, or nation can surpass the limits set by their education. Quoting Mualimu Julius Nyerere, he stressed that the current generation must carry the torch of African freedom, fueled by quality education, to ensure a prosperous future. He appealed to the government for assistance in road infrastructure to prevent ecological challenges.
The event which was well attended by dignitaries had students, teachers, alumni, parents and other guests. The colourful event which had participants turned up in different attires, also witnessed various performance by the students and special presentation by parents.

The guest speaker, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, Managing Director of CEOAFRICA and United Nation Young Ambassador for Peace, ably represented by Mr Ben Akpeji, delivered an enlightening lecture, harping on the exceptional model of Dr. Ojo, who he described as focused, committed, determined and resolute to his goals. He further recommended him as hybrid for national development which he said the nation desperately need. Mr Akpeji extended
congratulations to the pupils and students who he said to consider themselves highly honoured to be in His Majesty Global Schools.
He further emphasized the importance of embodying the school's moral teachings.
Mr Ben conveyed Prince Cletus' message that the youth hold the destiny of Nigeria and the entire African continent. “The responsibility to take ownership, drive, and position both the nation and the continent through innovation and creativity lies with you.”
Furthermore, Prince Cletus extended his commendations to the founder of His Majesty Global Schools for the unwavering commitment shown in nurturing the prospective leaders of the nation.
Mr. S.O. Daniel, the esteemed principal, praised Dr and Mrs. Babajide Ojo for their unwavering support to the school since its inception and invoked Nelson Mandela's wisdom: "Our impact on others determines the significance of our lives." He encouraged the graduating class of 2023 to emulate the founder's resolute spirit and carry their enthusiasm into the world to achieve their aspirations.
Adenuga Israel, the senior boy, conveyed his gratitude to all who imparted knowledge and wisdom, invoking the adage "Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments." He urged his fellow graduates to stay focused and take consistent steps towards their dreams, never forgetting the divine source of guidance.
Outstanding achievers among the graduates received prestigious awards, recognizing their remarkable contributions and academic achievements, adding an extra layer of pride to the celebration. The event was punctuated with captivating performances such as HMGS Voices, Rhymes, Acrobatics, Spelling Bee, and a special presentation by parents.
The event reached its conclusion with a heartfelt expression of gratitude, extending thanks to all attendees for their invaluable contributions that transformed the event into an unforgettable memory.
