The PDP in Plateau has constituted machinery to reconcile aggrieved members of the party ahead of the 2015 general elections, Sen. Gyang Pwajok the party’s governorship candidate, has said.

“With the party primaries producing winners and losers, the party found it necessary to set up machinery that will ensure that everyone is carried along.

“We have particularly tried to reach out to aggrieved groups and individuals.

“We need the support of every member of the party to emerge victorious in the 2015 general elections,’’ Pwajok told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Jos on Sunday.

He said that as part of the reconciliation process, some aspirants, who lost the governorship primary, had submitted their names to be included in his campaign team.

“We have also resolved to go to the field together to demonstrate our togetherness and the fact that we are one team with individual differences buried,’’ he said.

Pwajok said the manifestos of all the governorship aspirants in the state would be integrated into his manifesto in a bid to make the state a land of peace and equal opportunities.

He said that Yilji Gomwalk son of late Joseph Gomwalk the first military governor of the state was picked as deputy governor to `fuse the past and present toward a greater future.’

“Yilji’s father was revered as one who worked much for Plateau,’’ Pwajok told NAN.

The governorship candidate promised that if the PDP wins the election, his administration would improve on the quantity and quality of infrastructure in Plateau.

“We shall also exploit the abundant natural resources in the state and ensure that they are used to improve the well being of the people,’’ he said.

He also pledged to complete all projects started by the incumbent administration.
