“TIME TO CELEBRATE OUR CHAMPIONS”- Chrisland University holds dinner for her graduands (Photos)

The management team of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, on Sunday evening hosted the graduands of the 2022/2023 session to a dinner at the school premises.

The dinner was attended by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola, Registrar, staff, students and friends of the great citadel of learning.

The dinner was organized as part of activities marking the 5th convocation of the school.

Earlier, CEOAFRICA reported that the school had mapped out a 3-day ceremony which began on the 30th October to 1st November to mark the convocation.

At the dinner, the graduands were thrilled as it was all fun filled with jokes, eating, drinking and dancing. Awards were also given to some persons who have performed execellently during their stay in the school.

In her remark, Babalola stated that it is the -culture of the school to organize such event for graduands to celebrate them for the stay while in the school.

She noted that the purpose was to relax, eat, to celebrate our graduands and to says there is time for everything, there was a time to come into Chrisland and there was a time to spend three or four years in Chrisland, studying very hard.

She also started that it’s not everyone that enter the University graduate at the same time with his/her set, urging the graduands to be in the mood of gratitude, thankfulness, joy, relaxation

She said “We are just here to relax, to eat, to celebrate our graduands and to says there was a time for everything.

“There was a time to come into Chrisland and there was a time to spend three or four years in Chrisland; studying very hard”

“It’s our culture that after the graduation, that we should have dinner for our graduands’ and that’s why we are here. A time to dine and wine. It’s time for celebration, a sign of victory, a sign of success, a sign of completion.

“Out of 107 students, 91 are graduating, that’s to tell you that everyone is not graduating. I want you to be in that mood of gratitude, thankfulness, joy, relaxation. I want you to be in that mood of celebration. It is time to celebrate champions and stars”.
