Chrisland University, Abeokuta on Tuesday held her 5th Convocation in grand style.
The convocation was which was held at the University Auditorium featured presentation of awards of first degree, presentation of prizes and honourary awards.
In her address, the Vice Chancellor of the great citadel of learning, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola said that the school graduated Ninety-one students’ of 2022/2023 academic sessions.
Babalola out of the 91 graduands, ten (10) obtained First Class Honours with a female, Ezekwem Adachukwu Michelle, from the Software Engineering Department as the overall best graduating.
According to her, the grades of the graduands are as follows, 10 made First Class Honours, 49 made Second Class Upper Division, 26 made Second Class Lower Division while 6 made Third Class Division.
She commended the students for their efforts during their stay at Chrisland University. Babalola noted that the overall best student, Ezekwem Adachukwu Michelle, had a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.91 from Software Engineering Department.
Speaking further, the VC called on the graduands to be good ambassadors of the university wherever they found themselves.
She charged the graduands to utilized all the opportunity gotten from Chrisland University as they are not only going with just a certificate but with other entrepreneurial skills.
The 5th convocation had in attendance the founder and Chancellor of Chrisland University, Dr. Winifred Awosika, and Pro-Chancellor Prof. Ayodeji Olukoju, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola, Chancellors and Vice chancellors from universities, staff members of Chrisland University, parents, others.
