The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan in Nigeria held the second edition of its annual event, CALM DOWN 2.0, tagged "Thank You All for 2023," on 19th of December 2023, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine premises.

The event was a fun-filled affair that featured various activities and attracted a large number of attendees.

The CALM DOWN 2.0 was graced by esteemed guests including the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Olukayode Adebowale FRSC, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Admin, Professor Peter Olamakinde Olapegba, Deans of Faculties, distinguished guests including CEOAFRICA Team, Dr. Goke Ayoola, Dr. Abi Olamitoye, Dr. Olokede, Farm Alert, and Croydon Innovations, staffs, and final year students of the faculty. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as participants engaged in a range of recreational activities such as table tennis, PS5 video games, puzzle solving, Ayo opon, and more. DJ Weezy provided thrilling music to suit the tastes of both young and old.

Speaking at the event, Professor Ola-davies Olufunke, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine expressed gratitude to the faculty's staff, students, and stakeholders for their contributions to the numerous achievements of the faculty throughout the year 2023.
