BREAKING: Ibadan residents hit the street protest high cost of living

A protest is currently taking place in Ibadan, oyo State capital over the skyrocketing price of food and the state of the economy.
The protest took place on Monday.
CEOAFRICA observed that protesters gathered around the Mokola area in the state wielding placards with various inscriptions such as ‘End food hike and inflation,’ ‘The poor are starving,’ and ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises,’ among others.
They were also chanting songs to show their grievances.
Armed policemen were seen at the protest scene even as protesters held the peaceful rally against the economic hardship in the land occasioned by the removal of petrol subsidy.
