Ahead of 60th Anniversary celebration of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Moor Plantation Ibadan, in collaboration with Zonta Clubs of Ibadan and Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), is set to organise free cervical screening for women and prostrate screening for men.

This free medical outreach, which is also to commemorate 2024 International Women’s Day, will hold on Thursday, March 21, 2024 and Friday, March 22, 2024 at Computer Classroom Abuja by 9am.

The free screening, is aimed at preventing cervical cancer, a common cancer killing women in today’s society and causing over 8 deaths annually.

As there are only limited available spaces, interested individuals are mandated to register at the College’s Health Centre.

PPFN, also offers services such as PSA Test to screen for prostate cancer in men, breast cancer screening and family planning.
