The Founder and Trustee, Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF), Nigeria, Professor Adeyinka Gladys Ologbenla-Falusi has been installed as the “Iya Ijo” of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Efon Alaaye, Ekiti State.

Being found worthy of the position, the installation held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Church Auditorium.

Organised under the leadership of the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev’d Cornelius O. Adagbada, PhD, others who were also anointed for different positions include, Dr. Ibukun Falayi as “Baba Ijo” and Mr. Ayodeji Oluwaseun Kila as “Balogun Ijo”.

The event was witnessed by dignitaries and church societies including, Chief Mrs Aderonke Okusanya, Dr. and Mrs Aiyegbusi, among others.

SCHAF Nigeria is known for its philanthropic healthcare, financial aid, entrepreneurial skill development training and its dedication to enhance awareness and educate Nigerians on Sickle Cell Disease.
