The Chief Medical Director (CMD), Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Azare, Dr Musa Mohammed Dambam was abducted and killed over the weekend by faceless gun men.

The vicious and horrific killing of Director, Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Azare and the district head of Yame, all in Bauchi State, on Sunday has caused alarming lamentation across the country.

JNI and the Sultan of Sokoto lament this sorry state of affairs in the strongest terms, indicating that the nation seems to be drifting into lawless dimension considering the outrageous loss of lives especially in Borno State, despite various efforts by security agencies.

However, the security agencies in Borno State has been urged to apply humane measures while dealing with the public to earn them the people’s trust, support and cooperation that will aim at combating criminal elements causing nightmares on innocent citizens.
