Several electricity polls bearing electricity cables connecting many residents and business premises in Jericho area of Oyo state were pulled down on Thursday, May 16, 2024, after a heavy down pour.

The properties were damaged as a result of the heavy rain that was witnessed in some parts of the ancient city on Thursday, CEOAFRICA reports.

Some of the affected areas included Jericho (Onireke Area) and Akala Expressway.

In Jericho, several electric poles were pull down.

Also, the heavy downpour affected Akala Expressway of Ibadan, where a big billboard was destroyed.
