The headquarters of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's CHRIST EMBASSY CHURCH, Oregun, Lagos was on fire early Sunday morning of the 23rd June, 2024.
The cause of the fire outbreak was yet to be disclosed at the time of reporting. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 8 am and was curtailed following the prompt intervention of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA).Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.
Meanwhile, worshippers who had gathered for the usual Sunday service ran for safety.The fire is still on but under control by LASEMA.
