DE RAUFS GROUP APPLIES TO BAIL THE 13-YRS BOY ARRESTED AT THE LAGOS AIRPORT

A Volunteer group known as De Raufs has at last applied to stand as surety for the 13-year-old Daniel Oikhena, who was on the 24th of August arrested having emerged from the wheel compartment of an Arik Air plane that flew into Lagos from Benin.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered according to the report by Director-General of the group, Amitolu Shittu that Daniel who had evaded the security personnel at the Benin airport to catch the flight to Lagos had been in the custody of the State Security Service.

In addition to offering to bail the boy, the Director-General of De Raufs’ group confirmed the group to have offered scholarship to Daniel up to university level to help him maximize his potential of traveling by air legitimately.

The group Director-General also revealed that the SSS officials have declared the boy was not in detention but delayed for security reasons and would release the boy to the mother if she comes for him.
