TARABA STATE GOVERNOR SUNTAI AGREES TO STEP ASIDE FOR THE MOMENT

The Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai, has finally consented to allow the acting Governor continue steering the affair of Taraba State until he fully recovers from the injuries he sustained after being involved in a plane crashed on 0ctober 25, 2012.

CEOAFRICA news desk has gathered that Governor Suntai agreed to this decision after a meeting he had on Tuesday with PDP’s Committee on the state’s political setback, his Deputy, Alhaji Garba Umar; Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa, and the PDP leaders in the North-East.

Consequently to the outcome of the meeting on Tuesday, the committee directed that the Acting Governor Umar Garba should continue his acting role on the condition that he must consult Suntai on major issue along his duties.

However the Chairman of the Committee, Senator hope Uzodimma related to the newsmen that there was no crisis in Taraba State as Suntai is fully in support of the new decision pending when he fully recovered.
