The Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola has on Tuesday declared that the state administration has dissolved pre-nursery in all the government owned public schools in the state.

CEOAFRICA new desk learnt that the decision by the Osun State Government was in order to curb the prevailing incident of mothers abandoning their babies in schools with the excuse of building careers.

The Osun State governor addressing the Ila Orangun community of the State during a feedback interactive forum with the people of the area, urged mothers to take care of their babies, stressing that it is wrong for babies to be denied mothercare at their very tender age.

He however re-established that the administration would not compromise its pledge to give qualitative education to state through free and quality education for children from 6 years to 18.
