Gloria Guevara, the front-runner in this month's election for the Secretary-General of UN Tourism, has pledged that if elected, she will host a Global Investment Summit to unlock billions of dollars for the tourism industry.

With more than 200 tourism leaders now endorsing her campaign, she is renowned for bringing together the public and private sectors to improve tourism around the world.
