ACPN National Chairman attend burial of Pharm. Akpa’s mother

In a show of solidarity and support, Pharm. Ezeh Ambrose Igwekamma, the National Chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), along with other colleagues, graced the burial of Pharm. Okechukwu Akpa FPSN, the Managing Director of SKG-Pharma Ltd, to honor his late mother. The event took place in Okposi in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 and drew members of the pharmaceutical community who came together to pay their respects.

Pharm. Ezeh, representing the ACPN, emphasized the importance of community and togetherness during such poignant times. “Our presence here today is a testament to the bonds we share as professionals and as friends. We stand in solidarity with Pharm. Okey Akpa and his family during this difficult period,” he stated.

The gathering not only served as a farewell to a beloved matriarch but also highlighted the deep-rooted respect and kinship within the pharmaceutical community. Colleagues, friends, and family members came together to celebrate the life of Pharm. Akpa’s mother, offering prayers and support to the grieving family.

Pharm. Akpa expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received from his colleagues, saying, “In times like these, it’s comforting to know that we have a strong network of friends and professionals who care. I appreciate everyone who took the time to honor my mother’s memory and support my family.”

The respectful gathering underscored the commitment of the ACPN and the wider pharmaceutical community to support one another not only in professional endeavors but also in personal challenges.
