Born on August 25, 1965, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Ajila has had a distinctive journey marked by numerous achievements and contributions to his field and community.
Ajila's educational journey began at St. Peters Catholic School, Oke Are, Ibadan, where he completed his primary education between 1972 and 1978. He distinguished himself academically while attending Igbo Elerin Grammar School, serving as the Health Prefect in 1984. His pursuit of higher education saw him at The Polytechnic Ibadan from 1984 to 1986, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from Obafemi Awolowo University, which he completed in 1991. Ajila furthered his studies with an MBA from Nile University, Abuja, laying a solid foundation for his professional career.
Professionally, Ajila has established himself as an accomplished quantity surveyor, becoming a corporate member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) in 2011, later rising to the distinguished status of a fellow. He is also certified as an arbitrator from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His expertise has been crucial in his role as Managing Director of Stallion Property Development Company, a subsidiary of NNPC Pension Funds Ltd., where he oversees the utilization of vast land assets for real estate development.
In addition to his impressive professional credentials, Ajila is a skilled leader who has pursued various leadership and professional courses in Nigeria and internationally. His commitment to continuous learning has taken him to places like Rwanda, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, France, Holland, Germany, and Finland for advanced training in strategic pension fund administration and leadership.
Ajila is also passionate about mentoring emerging professionals in the field, actively participating in the Abuja FCT-Chapter of NIQS.
