Peter Olayinka, Nigerian striker has terminated his contract with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.
The 29-year-old attacker joined Red Star in 2023 from Czech side Slavia Prague, where he had built a strong reputation in European competitions.
Red Star Belgrade stated that, Olayinka requested to leave the club.
In an official statement on their website, Red Star confirmed an amicable parting of ways, disclosing that the Nigerian forward had indicated his readiness to embark on the next stage of his career.
Football Club Crvena zvezda notifies the public that it has mutually terminated its cooperation with Peter Olayinka, with mutual understanding and respect, the club said.
Peter expressed his desire to seek a new challenge in his career, and the club respected his wish, expressing gratitude for his professionalism, dedication, and contribution to our team during his time here.
The club also acknowledged Olayinka’s professionalism and commitment during his spell.

During his time in Serbia, Olayinka netted 14 league goals in 46 appearances, playing a key role in the club’s domestic campaign and adding experience to their frontline.
