Etisalat a Telecommunications company in Nigeria, West Africa  has partnered with TECNO, one of the leading mobile phone brands in Africa, to launch a new Android Smartphone, TECNO Phantom A into the Nigerian market the biggest telecommunication market in Africa.

 Designed for users with higher demand from Smartphones, the TECNO Phantom A is user friendly with big screen, elegant slim business style and it is now available at all Etisalat Experience Centres and other TECNO authorised retailer across Nigeria.

    Building on the success of the popular TECNO N3, TECNO N7, and TECNO P3, Phantom A is a dual SIM Smartphone which has 5 inch HD touch screen, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with dual core processor.

    Speaking at the launch of the phone in Lagos, Mr. Lucas Dada, director of products and services, Etisalat Nigeria, said that the partnership with TECNO is to bring to customers easy, affordable and reliable access to the internet through Smartphones.

    According to him, the increase in demand for both data and Smartphones in recent times has made it imperative for network providers and phone manufacturers to continue to collaborate to come up with products and services that meet the needs of the consumers.

    As part of the partnership, Dada disclosed that for every purchase of the new Phantom A Android Smartphones, Etisalat will be offering its customers a 12-month free data bundle on its EasyBlaze platform.

    Etisalat’s most advanced 3.75G, HSPA+ Network and its EasyBlaze broadband service with speed up to 42 mbps combined with these TECNO phones is yet another example of our continuous effort to bring our customers easy, affordable and reliable access to the internet”, he said.
