People’s Democratic Party continues to disintegrate as members in Kaduna State secede to align itself with the New Kawu Baraje led PDP.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered according to the report that the decision was connected to the event of last few weeks where a political Tsunami was unleashed on the nation with the emergence of a new leadership to pilot the affairs of the PDP.

The statement signed by a former Chairman of the party in Kaduna state, Alhaji Audi Yaro Makama and Gideon Yakubu Morik, commended the decision of the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and seven governors elected on the platform of the party, stating that  step was necessary to save the PDP from the hands of nihilists.

The consenting secession statement reads that the PDP in Kaduna State therefore proudly and wholeheartedly identifies with the new leadership of the party, under Alhaji Kawu Baraje and follows in the footsteps of its sister chapters of Adamawa, Jigawa and Taraba States in setting up new leadership to give our party a new lease of life.
