Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has said a speedy implementation of the recommendations of the 2014 National Conference would end the country’s woes.

Mimiko, in a statement signed by the Ondo State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Akinmade Kayode, on Wednesday, said the implementation of the report would enable each state of the federation to have its own constitution, police force and prison service.

According to Mimiko, other powers such as the creation of local governments, airports, seaports and railways given to the state government in the recommendations would ensure that each state develops at its pace.

Mimiko, who would host youths from the South-West in Ondo State on Thursday (today) to discuss their role in the implementation of the 2014 National Conference recommendations at a post-confab summit, stressed that youths are critical in national development.
