Two suspected ritualists were on Friday arrested by men of the Oyo State Police Command. The suspects who claimed to be farmers were arrested in Olufana in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo state with fresh human head.

The arrest of the suspects were made possible by members of the community who

sighted the human head on a pile of woods. They were said to have alerted the police who later picked the suspect up while trying to retrieve the head from where it was kept.

The suspects Oluwaseyi Akinola (30) was arrested by the policemen who have laid ambush at the area waiting for the person who kept the head on the pile of wood.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Olabisi Ilobanafor while addressing newsmen on the arrest said Oluwaseyi had arrived on a motorcycle with a polythene bag and went straight to the bush to pick up the fresh head.

On interrogation, the PPRO said the suspect had owned up to the crime and said he was not alone in the trade.
