The Bauchi State Head of Civil Service, Mr Abdon Gin, has presented a draft reviewed for the2015 budget of the state in the tune of N100.146bn as the total budget size.

Mr Gin delivered a speech as the chairman of 21-man review committee, on the 2015 budget to the state governor, Mohammed Abubakar.

The committee based their terms of reference on: streamlining relevance in all sector of the state economy to new administration policies and programmes and forecast revenue for the period of July to December.

The total budget on expenditure was estimated at N100.146bn, the total revenue expected to fund the budget was estimated at N102.802bn.

Also, the proposed recurrence budget was N63.302bn while the capital budget was estimated at N36.845bn.

Mr Gin revealed that while the recurrence estimate has made provisions for salaries, wages and overhead costs, the capital estimates is focused on ‘quick wins’ projects, distributed statewide and sector-wide and also tailored towards their completion and utilisation by the end of December, 2015.
