President Goodluck  Ebele Jonathan has appointed  two key aide for the positions of State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) and Presidential Liaison Officer (PLO).

Those appointed for the two key positions  CEOAFRICA news gathered are Mr. Jamilu Waziri the present PLO who is expected to takeover as the new SCOP and Mr. Ben Okoyen the current special adviser to  the president  on protocol matters, who is positioned for the PLO job.

Mr. Waziri, who is presently presidential liaison officer (PLO), is seen as one the president's key aides and central figure in reaching out to key elements in the Northern politics.

He takes over from Mr. Olutola John Onijala, the immediate past SCOP who turned 60 last month and whose exit was surrounded by controversies
