Uganda: Jamaican Artiste Jets In For Concert

The much anticipated "Dance with the Champions Concert" is set to get under way as Jamaican artiste Glendale Goshia Gordon, aka Busy Signal, gets to the bustling city of Kampala.

The singer touched down at the Entebbe International Airport yesterday, a few minutes after 1pm. The concert, which is slated for Friday at Cricket Oval in Lugogo, Kampala, will also be graced by Konshens, another Jamaican dance hall singer, who is expected to jet in on Thursday. This will be Konshens third concert in the country.

While talking to the press shortly after touching down, Busy Signal said he was so happy and excited to be in Uganda for the second time.

"All Ugandans should make a date with me for the second time this Friday. If you think last year's show was the best, come witness the best dancehall treat ever. I thank Pepsi for giving me a chance to be in Uganda again," Busy Signal said.

Busy Signal, better known for his songs, including Watch Out Fi Dis, One More Night, Reggae Music Again, Unknown Number, Come Over, Girl Yuh good and Missing You, among others, will be at Club Venom in Kabalagala for a meet and greet party with his fans tomorrow.
