
Military aircraft crashes in Kaduna, 7 dead

As a military air plane crashed at about 6:45am on Saturday, at the old Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA), in Kaduna, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed all the seven people on board dead.
The site of the crash is also called Ribadu Cantonment.
The plane, which fell between two houses in the Cantonment, consumed one of the houses as it went up in flames on impact.
The site of the crash has been cordoned off by military personnel, who stopped people from getting close.
There was still no official statement from NAF authorities at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, this is the second fatal copter crash in the country in less than a month. Recently, a Sorry S-76C+ crashed into the Lagos Lagoon killing six persons.
