The Polytechnic Ibadan Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) has commenced an indefinite strike beginning from today, Monday, August 31over payment of outstanding salariesand wages.

 This is contained in a communiqué issued and signed by the branch secretary of the union, Mr Ibraheem Adekunle Akande on Friday, August 28, 2015.

It reads: “The management should as a matter of urgency prevail on the state government to pay all our outstanding salaries and wages from April till date.

“Henceforth, members’ salaries should be paid in full without deduction due to the cooperative and members. The union will not call off the strike until our demands are met.”
