APC leaders in Osun lauded Buhari for fighting corruption and insurgency

One of the member of Osun State House of Assembly representing Obokun Constituency, Mr. Olatubosun Oyintiloye has lauded the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari in fighting against the Boko Haram insurgents within his first 100 days in office.

Oyintiloye said this while speaking with some political leaders in Ibokun on Sunday. He said from war against insurgent, the president still maintain his stance to fight corruption and deal with corrupt officials he also stressed that despite the decline in the price of crude oil, his action had however led to increase in revenue.

The lawmaker said, “The machinery that President Buhari has been able to set in motion to fight security challenges deserves applause from Nigerians. The area of note is the order for the relocation of Military Command Centre to the North-East, which is the theatre of the insurgency.

“Also, the President has been able to harness resources through the single account remittance, which to a large extent had improved the revenue of the Federal Government and a proactive measure in curbing corruption.

“Due to series of strategic intervention, more funds are coming to the federal government treasury and by extension deepening and developing the economy. For instance, the nation’s foreign reserve rose by 1.12 percent in August from $31.08bn to $31.43bn which is a positive sign for the economy.”

 In a similar development, the former senator, who is also the Osun State Coordinator of Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Senator Mudasiru Husain also addressed some leaders of the APC in Ejigbo, he said the President had ensured improvement in electricity supply to many homes across the country with the first 100 days.

The former senator, who represented Osun West Senatorial District at the upper legislative chamber between 2011 and 2015 said that Buhari’s polices and administration had given many Nigerians confidence and a hope for a better tomorrow.
